Marriage and Family Therapy Services of the Southern Tier, P.C. caters to individuals, couples, and families with diverse problems. Founded by Melissa DeVincentis, PhD, LMFT, BCBA-D; Dr. DeVincentis works with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing a variety of symptoms, concerns, and stressors. Dr. DeVincentis counsels individuals, couples, and if requested, the entire family on relational issues tied to marriage issues, ADHD, anger, anxiety, depression, autism, behavioral challenges in children and adolescents, communication, grief, trauma, trust, and couples / relationship problems.
Recently joining Dr. DeVincentis at her location in Sayre, Pennsylvania is Kirby Oxenreider, MSED, MDiv, NCC, LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). Kirby has worked in Family Based Mental Health Services for 16 years. He is a senior clinician specializing in individuals, families and couples. Kirby worked in both private practice and in the public sector completing his Family Based Certification through Western Psychiatric Institute. He was also in private practice in Pittsburgh, PA. Kirby brings a wealth of knowledge and superior clinical practice to Marriage and Family Therapy Services. Kirby specializes in individual therapy, couples issues, and family therapy. Kirby completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from Lebanon Valley College in 1990 and entered graduate school at Bethany Therological Seminary, where he graduated with a Masters in Divinity degree in 1984. Kirby then graduated with a Master of Education in Community Counseling from Duquesne University in 1995.
